V této tradici pokračujeme také my v rámci stejnojmenné edice.

The latest in the Cream series which brings together 100 of the most exciting contemporary artists emerging today, each chosen by prominent international curators # Each artist spread includes a newly commissioned text written by the curator who selected the artist, as well as full-colour images illustrating the most recent works by the artists, from exhibitions all over the world # Follows the award-winning Cream (1998), Fresh Cream (2000), Cream 3 (2003) and Ice Cream (2007) # Additionally, each curator chooses a key creative work for the Sources section. Fields of cultural activity such as cinema, literature, theory, music, design and architecture have become both subject and referent for artists, and the Sources section will reflect the heterogeneous nature of what influences contemporary art today, providing readers with a broader historical and cultural perspective and insight into the curator's influences # The most in-depth and original resource for anyone interested in emerging contemporary artists, truly reflects the current moment and is vital for both those in the art world and those that are new to contemporary art

Creamier is an up-to-the-minute global survey of recent developments in contemporary art, with an emphasis on emerging artists. Each of the ten selected curators is known for his or her integrity and expertise in staging presentations of new art on an international level.

Each curator selects ten important new artists who have either emerged internationally over the last five years or who are still relatively unknown. There are no limitations on age, geography or medium. The result is a roster of the most significant and promising new artists working today -- the true cream of the crop.

Each curator also selects a key creative work for the Sources section, such as an art work, text, film or album that has been significantly influential to art being produced at this moment, contextualizing the contemporary work featured in the rest of the book.
