The book's colorful cloth cover takes its inspiration from yarn wound around card, which, as well as being one of the 50 objects chosen by Sir Paul to feature in the book, also shows how he creates his famous and iconic stripes.

About the Author
Sir Paul Smith CBE RDI (b. 1946) is one of the UK's foremost designers and is renowned for his creative spirit. His eponymous fashion brand combines traditional craftsmanship and cutting-edge design to create beautifully made modern pieces.
Tony Chambers (b. 1963) is founder and creative director of design and lifestyle consultancy TC & Friends and co-chair of Brainstorm Design.
