Widely acknowledged as the most influential architect of the 20th century, Le Corbusier and his works have been extensively researched. Architectural photographer Richard Pare is the author of the seminal volume The Lost Vanguard: Russian Modernist Architecture 1922–1932. He was the founding curator of the photography collection of the Canadian Centre for Architecture and a consultant to the collection since 1989.
Jean-Louis Cohen is Sheldon H. Solow Professor in the History of Architecture at the Institute of Fine Arts, New York University.
