Rock Facesis the ultimate collection of rock ’n’ roll images by 12 of the world’s top photographers from the last 40 years. Industry heavyweights—Henry Diltz, Mick Rock, Ian Dickson, Bob Gruen, Michael Putland, Gered Mankowitz, Jill Furmanovsky, Claude Gassian, Steve Gullick, Danny Clinch, Kevin Westenberg and Kevin Cummins—choose their favourite twelve images each from their portfolios, and reveal their techniques, as well as the stories—and sometimes scandals—behind the shots and the acts they have photographed.
Rock Faces is that rare backstage-pass, the elite VIP invite to the after-show party and every rock ’n’ roll fan’s dream. Capturing the raw essence of legends, from the Rolling Stones to David Bowie, Sex Pistols to Madonna, Oasis to Yeah Yeah Yeahs.
