Germany Now: 38 Photographers and an Unknown Land

Germany's role on the world stage is changing - as are perceptions of its people. Thirty-eight photographers from the Bilderberg photo agency invite you to explore their homeland from an unusually fresh perspective. Photos and short texts in English and German offer a behind-the-scenes look at a side of everyday life in Germany - from the peak of the Zugspitze in the south to the island of Sylt in the far north - that you may not necessarily ever see as a visitor. The photographers travelled the country in search of iconic images ranging from everyday experiences in villages and factories to events such as The World Cup, local lingerie parties and rockabilly concerts. From panoramic views to portraits, every photo tells its own story.
