Review
Although the stories of homesteads told throughout the book are the standout, the photography brings these homesteads to life. Rich images with vivid color fill the pages of the book, and let the readers see for themselves the beauty that can be created in the most unlikely places, whether a New York terrace or a Berlin balcony...If you're looking to learn more about the world of urban homesteading, or even want to start your own self-sufficient garden, Urban Homesteads will make a great addition to your library. With its diverse stories and stunning photos, every plant lover will find something to enjoy in this one. --"Washington Gardener"
