A star is dead.
A legend is born.
When death strikes unexpectedly and unfulfilled potential is nipped in the bud, that’s when myths are made. This stunningly illustrated book brings a tribute to the lives and work of more than 100 international 20th century celebrities who went before their time. From Judy Garland, Keith Haring and Eva Perón to James Dean, Florence Griffith and JFK… all the monarchs, politicians, activists, entertainers, artists and sportsmen in this book had two things in common: they inspired multiple nations during their lives and attained immortality by dying too soon.
