Jessica Kahawaty (Author)
Jessica Kahawaty is a Lebanese-Australian model, humanitarian and co-founder of Mama Rita, a Dubai-based food delivery company. Born in Sydney, Jessica grew up between Australia and Lebanon, where she watched her Mama Rita cook for friends and family. In 2020 she and Rita founded Mama Rita, a celebration of three generations of home cooking and a delicious taste of Middle Eastern, Mediterranean and international flavours.

Rita Kahawaty is a former model and co-founder of food delivery company Mama Rita. Born in Lebanon, Rita moved to Australia as an adult where she held on to her roots by cooking the recipes her mother, Nahil, taught her. Rita’s natural talent allowed her to whisk her own touches into her favourite dishes and she passed her gift for cooking down to her daughter, Jessica.
