'The perfect festive romance' HEIDI SWAIN on Christmas at the Little Cornish Bakery

Will her best love story be the one she didn't plan to write?

Five years ago, Isabella Fox shared three unforgettable days with a stranger. The plan was to arrange to meet again but when weeks passed and she heard nothing from him, she was left heartbroken. Disappointed, she poured all her energy into writing timeslip romances.

Now a bestselling romance author writing as Bella Fox, she no longer believes in love . . . or Christmas. After a painful breakup and a crippling case of writer's block, Bella escapes to the cosy Cornish village of Polcarrow, hoping the sea air will help her write again. Instead, she finds twinkling lights, festive traditions, a haunted pub . . . and Aidan, the man she never forgot.

As winter closes in and inspiration begins to stir, old sparks reignite and long-buried truths come to light. But with past heartbreaks, difficult choices, and Christmas fast approaching, Bella must decide whether to return to the life she left behind - or finally believe in second chances.

Don't miss Jennifer Bibby's other Polcarrow books: Christmas at the Little Cornish Bakery and Hot Cross Buns at the Little Cornish Bookshop. Available now. And pre-order Love Blooms at the Cosy Cornish Cottage. Coming summer 2027.
