Seasonal Folktales

Embrace the changing seasons with this beautifully illustrated collection of myths and folklore.

In these magical retellings of classic Celtic and Nordic folktales, we journey from snowy mountain peaks to wild forests and stormy coastlines, as we observe the moon phases, find folkloric treasures and meet an array of strange and mysterious creatures. We'll encounter sprites, trolls, mythic beasts and monsters - from the bramble boggle (a mischievous member of fairy folk who is said to have given blackberries their thorns) to the sea witches and selkies who roam the Northern shores.

Through the power of these stories we can light up our minds with a wild, child-like wonder, and reconnect our hungry souls to the natural rhythms of the shifting seasons.
