Rainer Schmidt: Landscape architecture

With numerous successes in international competitions and a substantial realised oeuvre, Rainer Schmidt is one of the most renowned German landscape architects. The Edition Topos provides the first comprehensive presentation of his most important projects. The chapter on "Landscape and Architecture" shows ingenious combinations of archi-tecture and landscape, as in the design for Johann Gutenberg High School in Erfurt.
