High On… Bathroom Design
In the last few decades, the bathroom has increasingly developed into an integrated living and wellness concept. In addition to the functional elements such as shower, washbasin, bathtub, and toilet, modern bathroom concepts focus on the feel-good aspect, with saunas, waterfalls and rain showers, infrared heat cabins, and jacuzzis. The bathroom becomes a place of rest and relaxation. There are no limits to the individual design. The bathroom projects presented in this volume impressively show how the individual wishes of the builders have been lovingly implemented in various design concepts. Let yourself be inspired, even with a certain humility and gratitude. Because we must not forget that there are still many people on earth who have little or no access to water and can only dream of taking care of their body and mind in a beautiful bathroom.
About the Author
Ralf Daab has been in book publishing for 25 years, with Taschen, Könemann and teNeues where he developed a new book programme and established a worldwide distribution network. With this experience he started his own label daab and published over 200 books on art, architecture, design, photography and fashion. He is the founder of Cologne Catwalk and Cologne Fashion Days. More recently Ralf Daab launched HIGH ON..., a new imprint for innovative art and design books. In Spring 2017 he had his first exhibition of his own photographic artwork at The New Yorker Hotel in Cologne.
